Submission Guidelines

COMPONENTS FOR SUBMISSION

Participants are required to prepare the documents below and upload them to the registration link provided in the Notification of Acceptance email:

  1. Abstract
    • An Abstract must be in one paragraph only and consists of 250-400 words.
    • The Abstract must be written in English. It must be free of spelling errors and grammar mistakes.
    • An Abstract contains a Background, Problem Statement, Objectives, Methodology, Novelty, Benefits to Society etc.
    • Rename your Abstract using the format: IIICe2024 (Project ID) – Title of Project. For Example, IIICe2024 (M001) – Smart Traffic Monitoring System

  2. Extended Abstract
    Optional if interested for publication in e-Proceeding with e-ISBN number.

    Extended Abstract publications in e-Proceedings are in English and are limited to the best 30 publications to be selected by the IIICe2024 Secretariat. The Extended Abstract will also be available online via the IIICe2024 website.

    • IIICe2024 will publish the Extended Abstract in e-Proceeding with e-ISBN number. Participants are given an option to submit an Extended Abstract of 5-10 pages describing their work. The full article must strictly follow the template below and contain Abstract, Introduction, Methodology, Results & Discussion, Conclusion & Recommendation and References. Figures or tables must not exceed 50% of the whole contents. The submitted articles will be reviewed by two reviewers. Only accepted articles will be published in the e-Proceeding. The participants are highly encouraged to proofread the Extended Abstract before submission.
    • Rename your Extended Abstract using the format: IIICe2024 (Project ID) - Title of Project. For example, IIICe2024 (M001) – Smart Traffic Monitoring System

  3. Poster
    • Content: Background, Problem statement, Objective, Methodology, Findings, and Contribution to Society
    • Poster size: A1 (841mm × 594mm); Orientation: Portrait; Format: *.pdf; Maximum file size: 4 MB
    • This template is provided for the International Innovation and Invention Competition (IIICe2024) poster. Participants are encouraged to modify or enhance it as necessary to more effectively communicate their project. The template can be downloaded below:

    • Each group needs to print the poster/bunting and bring it to the exhibition hall on 5th August 2024. Poster prints for Professional categories, while bunting prints for non-professional categories. Below are the sample of poster and bunting prints.

  1. Supporting documents (if any and necessary) such as Copyright, Patent, IP, Commercialization, Letter of Intent or Academic Paper.
  1. Fee Proof of Payment
    • Upload Proof of Payment and rename the receipt using the format: IIICe2024 (Project ID) - Title of Project. For example: IIICe2024 (M001) – Smart Traffic Monitoring System
