INTERNATIONAL INNOVATION & INVENTION COMPETITION 2024 (IIICe2024)
Renaissance of Innovation: Pioneering Sustainable Frontier

                 1. PARTICIPATION

1.1     This competition is open to to participation from both within and outside Malaysia according to the categories as specified below:

2.2     Secondary School (Malaysia)
2.3     Certificate/Diploma (Malaysia)
2.4     Undergraduate/Postgraduate (Malaysia)
2.5     Staff/Professional (Malaysia)
2.6     Undergraduate/Postgraduate (International)
2.7     Staff/Professional (International)

3. ENTRY

3.1     In a Group (not more than 7 members including Group Leader)

4.2     Automotive, Transportation and Industrial Design
4.3     Biotechnology, Health and Chemicals
4.4     Building, Construction and Materials
4.5     ICT, Multimedia and Telecommunications, Electrical and Electronics

4.7     Pandemic Innovation

5. FEE

5.1     Each entry will be charged an entrance fee as follows:

5.2    Payment must be made after a Notification of Acceptance is emailed to the participants by the organiser.
5.3   The entry fee will be refunded if the participant withdraws after payment up to 2 weeks before the date of innovation competition on 5th August 2024. After that period, the entry fee will not be refunded.

6. METHOD OF IMPLEMENTATION FOR INNOVATION EXHIBITION

6.1   Each group must submit Abstract and Extended Abstract (optional).
6.2   Each group also needs to prepare and upload poster related to innovation according to the specified format.
6.3   Each group must exhibit and present the innovation results face to face to two judges/panel of assessors appointed by the IIICe2024 during the judging session.
6.4   Each group also needs to prepare and display a poster/bunting related to the innovation produced. Poster prints for Professional categories, while bunting prints for non-professional categories.
6.4    Each innovation result will be rated with gold, silver, or bronze.

7. EARLY REGISTRATION

7.1   The deadline for Early Registration is on or before 24th June 2024.
7.2   Early registration can be made using the Google form link below or by scanning the QR Code on the poster and IIICe2024 website.

7.3   Participants are required to upload an Abstract to the registration link. The Abstract format and template can be obtained and downloaded from the IIICe2024 website.

8. NOTIFICATION OF ACCEPTANCE AND GROUP REGISTRATION

8.1    Notification of Acceptance will be announced on or before 5th July 2024 via email.
8.2  Each group is required to complete the registration process through the link of Google form provided in the Notification of Acceptance. The deadline to complete the registration is on or before 22^nd July 2024.
8.3   Participants are required to prepare the documents below and upload them to the registration link provided in the Notification of Acceptance email:

      2. Extended Abstract – Optional if interested for publication in e-Proceedings with e-ISBN number.
         Extended Abstract publications in e-Proceedings are in English and are limited to the best publications to be selected by the IIICe2024 Secretariat.
         Publication of e-Proceedings in Special Edition under Journal Multidiscipline Applied Research and Innovation (MARI) with e-ISBN.
         Each group who intends to submit a manuscript (extended abstract) will be charged an additional cost at RM70 and borne by the author.
         The Extended Abstract will also be available online via the IIICe2024 website.
      3. Supporting documents (if any and necessary) such as Copyright, Patent, IP, Commercialization, Letter of Intent, Academic Paper.

8.4   Abstract, Extended Abstract (Optional), and poster must meet the format as stipulated by the organizer. The format and templates can be obtained and downloaded from the IIICe2024 website.

9. PROOF OF PAYMENT OF THE PARTICIPATION FEE

9.2   Proof of payment must be uploaded to the Google form link provided in the Notification of Acceptance
9.3   The deadline for fee payment is on or before 5th August 2024.

10. ANNOUNCEMENT OF WINNERS

10.1   The winners will be announced live on 5^th August 2024.

11. PRIZES

11.1    Award Certificate of Gold, Silver or Bronze Award will be awarded to all projects based on the achievement of the marks that qualify them in that level.
11.2    For the award, each group/project will be received only ONE hard copy of certificate and ONE
11.3    Medal will also be given to ONE winner for each sub-theme of the competition.
11.4   Any groups that are interested in purchasing additional medals and certificates, must order from the Secretariat at the booth provided or via the Google form link below:

12. JUDGEMENT AND DECISION

12.1   The judge’s decision is FINAL and no dispute or appeal will be entertained.
